Art. 5 of the Regulations of the Center for Information Technology (approved in 2009) states:

“Should he/she deem it necessary, the Director of the Centre may propose the creation of an Advisory Board for the purpose of helping him/her to define the scientific programmes and to conceive innovative research projects. Nomination of the Advisory Board shall be reported to the Board of Directors. The Advisory Board is an internal consultancy organism for the Director and as such carries out functions that in no way impinge upon the competencies of the Foundation’s Scientific Committee.”
